McDonald’s Coinoffers
Brief
Together with the highly renowned and award-winning Danish agency DDB we were tasked by McDonald’s to create an engaging campaign through modern channels to raise awareness of their Coinoffers value deals.
Solution
The McDonald’s Coinoffers app featured a custom-made backend and analytics platform to thoroughly monitor user behavior in real time. In addition the app solution was built around advanced sound recognition fast fourier transformation algorithms together with a custom-made QR code scanning functionality.
Results
- 1.000.000 QR and audio codes scanned in 28 days vastly exceeding expectations.
- #1 most downloaded app in Denmark on both Android Markets and Apple’s App Store simultaneously.
- More than 20.000 Facebook fans added during the campaign.
