Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kiloo A/S (“Kiloo”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit Kiloo.com and play our browser games. Kiloo.com has no payments: you can open any game and start playing immediately, with or without an account.

Who is responsible for your data

Your account, if you make one

An account is optional and lets your favourites, recently played games, votes and game progress follow you to every browser you log in on. You log in with your e-mail address and a link we send you; there is no password. For the account we keep your e-mail address, the display name you choose, the time you created the account and last used it, and the data listed above as you save it. We use the e-mail address only to send log-in links. You must be 13 or older to have an account. Log-in links are sent through Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC, USA), which processes your e-mail address for that purpose only under standard contractual clauses. The account and everything saved to it are deleted at once when you press “Delete my account” on your account page, and sessions end after 30 days without use. The play and visit counts described below never carry your account.

What we collect

• Technical data needed to serve the site and games, such as IP address, browser type, device type and basic request logs.
• Anonymous usage counts: which pages are viewed, in which language and on roughly which screen size, whether a visit arrived from another site, which games are started and how long they stay open, and the thumbs up or down a game gets. These requests carry no cookie or identifier and we keep no IP address with them, so they cannot be traced to you. To stop one address from flooding the votes, the server counts its votes in memory for ten minutes and then forgets it; the address is never written down.
• In-browser game progress some games save locally, in your browser only (see “Local game data” below).
• Messages you send us, such as through the Support contact form or by email, including your name, email address and message content.

We do not require an account to use Kiloo.com and we do not process payments on the site.

Why we collect it, and our legal bases

• Operating the site and games (technical data, necessary cookies) — necessary for our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
• Counting visits and plays to see which games are popular and improve Kiloo.com — our legitimate interest, served with aggregate numbers that identify nobody, so no consent is needed and none is asked for.
• Responding to your enquiries (contact form, support or privacy emails) — necessary to answer your request, or to comply with a legal obligation for privacy requests.

Cookies and local storage

Kiloo.com sets no analytics or marketing cookies, so there is no cookie banner. A functional cookie remembers the language you picked, and your browser's local storage keeps your favourites, your recently played games, the thumbs up or down you gave a game and, for some games, your progress. Local game data

Some Kiloo games store progress directly in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. This data stays on your device, is not linked to an account (there are none) and is not transmitted to Kiloo. Clearing your browser's site data, or switching device or browser, resets it.

How long we keep data

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and reliability, typically a matter of weeks. The anonymous visit and play counts contain nothing about you and are kept as statistics. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws elsewhere, you can:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (access).
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification).
• Ask us to delete your data (erasure), where applicable.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Danish Datatilsynet.

Children

Kiloo.com is a general-audience site with age-appropriate content, and it has no accounts, so we do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond the technical data and anonymous counts described above. If you believe a child has otherwise provided us with personal data (for example, in a contact message), please contact us and we will remove it.

International transfers

Where a service we use (such as our content delivery network) processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on that provider's applicable safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. On 2026-10-23 Google Analytics and the cookie banner were removed; the site now counts visits and plays itself, without identifiers.
